TIE DYE AND FEATHERS ARE ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA
When Vogue posted about Summer 2019’s biggest trends I was hoping they wouldn’t consider tie dye a trend. I felt like I wouldn’t be able to pull off tie dye now, although I owned a few pieces some years ago.
But who am I kidding, brands like Calvin Klein, Prabal Gurung and Christian Dior had tie dye pieces incorporated in their collections – obviously making it a Summer 2019 must-have.
And I’ll be honest, my inner-hippie/bohemian soul was excited to wear a tie dye! This Summer let us explore some bold trends – feathers and hot pink is another one. I have never owned an accessory, let alone a piece of clothing with feathers on it, as I always thought it never suited me. And hot pink is another element that I have steered clear from – since I mostly wear neutral colors. I feel like this look breaks away from the box I held myself in for a while. And it goes without saying that I enjoyed wearing this look, especially the feather shoes from Aldo, made me feel like a little kid and happy!
