This is Bella Hadid’s First ‘Vogue’ Cover!

‘I can’t believe it!!! My first VOGUE cover !!!Thank you @vogueturkiye and my wonderful @sebastianfaena & so talented @koncaaykan for creating such an amazing story with me,‘ wrote Bella on her instagram page.

Bella Hadid at just 19 years is featured on the cover of Vogue Turkey’s  May 2016 issue. She poses in a sultry manner wearing a white Givenchy bandeau top adorned with jewels from Gilan, an Istanbul jewelry brand. The Vogue cover shot by photographer Sebastian Faena and styled by Konca Aykan exudes an 80’s feel.

Although this is Bella’s first cover, her famous sibling Gigi (who is 21) has already bagged 12 editions of Vogue. However, neither of them have been featured on U.S Vogue, so the question remains, which Hadid sibling will take the prize as the cover star? Perhaps both Gigi and Bella? Or three of them including, Anwar Hadid who recently debuted his modelling career.

After contributing fashion articles to local lifestyle and travel magazines; Angel successfully initiated the first fashion column in the Maldives' most widely circulated newspaper Haveeru and continued her tenure as Mihaaru's fashion columnist till 2016.
