Major Beauty Trend Alert!

So Paris Fashion week is about to start and so far we have experienced some really sensational trends especially in accessories, and a total new beauty look is under the spotlight: Fresh faced, dewy skin, simple nude lip but with a touch of sexiness using simple applicants like a black mascara paired with a liquid eyeliner. It’s practical in so many levels and we are thankful it’s in! Erdem,Hugo Boss,Narcisso Rodriguez, Oscar De la Renta and Marc by Marc Jacobs are some of the many designers who embraced it this season. If you love minimal makeup like moi, then you are in luck. Ditch those layers of foundations, and flashy eye make up. Moisturize your skin and lightly touch up with a concealer, let the beauty of your real skin shine through. But if you want to spice up a simple look try a smokey eye keeping the rest of the face nude, or work with a red lip to stand out from minimalism.

As a fashion designer who runs her own brand, a freelance stylist, illustrator and writer - Angel believes in offering her optimum in knowledge and skills in the field. Documenting her own designs, illustrations, sharing her views on the local and international fashion scene on her blog shaped her first steps to becoming a fashion writer. After contributing fashion articles to local lifestyle and travel magazines; Angel successfully initiated the first fashion column in the Maldives' most widely circulated newspaper Haveeru and continued her tenure as Mihaaru's fashion columnist till 2016.
